Chapmans oversee turnaround of BTL investment property for overseas landlord

 

 

 

Chapmans were delighted to have been asked to manage a lovely, albeit dated, 3 bed ground floor apartment in a sought after location.  The overseas landlords aquired the property without seeing it and trusted our advice to spend money in the right areas to make the property fully compliant for letting and to maximise its appeal for a good quality long term tenant.

 

Chapmans managed a deep clean, installation of new smoke detection system, re decoration of central hallway and some key rooms to make the decor more current and appealing. We test drove all appliances, removed dated pelmets but retained the extremely good quality curtains and carpets.  The new paintwork in classic colours have modernised the feel of the property, maximised the light and enhanced lovely features such as the cornicing and ceiling roses.

 

Our client trusted Chapmans to choose the right areas to invest in, oversee the refurbishment, maximise the rental value, minimise the void period but still focussing on finding good long term tenants.
