When a tenant gives their notice an agent will need to confirm that they have done this accurately and correctly and then ideally look to re-value and re-market the property with the landlord’s consent within 24-48 hours of the notice being given to ensure they achieve the best possible rental and the lowest possible void period. It is also important to start the viewings before the outgoing tenants start filling up the property with boxes – i.e presented in a less than flattering manner!
