BEING CLEAR & MANAGING EXPECTATIONS BEFORE YOU SIGN ON THE DOTTED LINE...
It was almost like we knew what was coming in 2020 (we promise we didn't) but at the start of last year we launched our Lease Signing Video.
This basically meant that our Tenants were asked to watch our video where Laura talks through our Lease in detail, section by section, highlighting specific areas. We did this to make sure that our Tenants signing the Lease did so with a full understanding of what they were signing, that they were fully aware of their role and responsibilities and had the opportunity to ask questions. We wanted them to feel comfortable, informed and respected.
Our Lease Signing Video really came into its own during Lockdown for obvious reasons and is still used, having got great feedback to date.
A little bit of innovation and out-of-the-box thinking that served us and our Tenants well during the pandemic.
