I want to give Chapmans a little shout out today as we have had some wonderful Landlord feedback, and I think businesses should be taking every opportunity presented to them, to spread positive news about themselves!
No need to tell you that it has been a tough old time for the majority of businesses these last 9 months; more so for small businesses who don’t have head offices, marketing agencies, lawyers and other people telling them exactly what they need to do. We’ve had to figure it all out by ourselves, close our eyes and dive in and just hope for the best at times!
Thankfully and gratefully, the team and I have remained working tirelessly throughout the full lockdown. We are in a highly regulated industry already – where legislative changes can take years to come to fruition and prepare for. All of a sudden, like so many others, we were thrown in the deep end, sometimes overnight with endless changes on how we were to operate as a business and changes to tenancy law. It’s been a bit crazy! BUT this isn’t a sob story, quite the opposite.
This is a shout out to my amazing team for (almost) getting us through this year – won’t count our chickens just yet! They have been outstanding and have not just done me proud, they have done themselves proud. As a family run letting agency, we pride ourselves on applying common-sense, communication and compassion to Property Letting and Management, and never have these qualities served us so well or been more important.
In the Autumn after 6 months of lockdown had passed, and with no real idea how things were going to pan out for the remainder of the year and into 2021 (although we remain positive and hopeful); we asked our Landlords for their feedback on how they felt we had handled the lockdown to date. We’d like to share the results on here because we think they are worth shouting about!
